Privacy

Privacy should be understandable.

This policy explains the kinds of information DayDryft may process when you use the service, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information you provide

DayDryft may process account information such as your name and email address, plus travel information you choose to add: destinations, dates, saved places, reservations, preferences, notes, trip members, and other planning details.

Location and trip context

Some features work better with location context. If you choose to provide a location or allow a device or mapping service to provide one, DayDryft may use it to improve routes, nearby recommendations, weather context, and other trip-planning features.

Usage and analytics

DayDryft uses analytics, including Google Analytics, to understand how the product is used and where the experience can be improved. This may include page views, device or browser information, approximate location derived by analytics providers, and interaction data.

How information is used

Information is used to provide and improve trip-planning features, keep trips synchronized, support collaboration, troubleshoot the service, measure product performance, protect the service from abuse, and communicate about accounts or requested support.

Service providers

DayDryft relies on service providers for functions such as hosting, authentication, maps and places, weather, analytics, and email delivery. Those providers may process information as necessary to perform those services under their own terms and privacy commitments.

Private trip content

Trip content is intended to remain private to the people who are authorized to access that trip unless you intentionally share it through a feature that makes it available to others.

Retention and deletion

Information may be retained while an account is active and for a reasonable period afterward when needed to operate the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. You may contact DayDryft to ask about access, correction, or deletion of your information.

Children

DayDryft is not designed for children under 13, and we do not knowingly ask children under 13 to create accounts.

Policy changes

This policy may change as DayDryft develops. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a revised date.
